Overview: Loureiro Engineering Associates has an immediate need for Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to join our Facility Engineering Division in Plainville, Connecticut, or our Portsmouth, New Hampshire location. The Senior Project Manager will lead a team of MEP engineers and designers with a passion to enhance the built environment and the lives of those within it. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver, seller-doer, subject matter expert in mechanical engineering, plumbing, and fire protection.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for the mechanical engineering, fire protection, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Manage overall financial and technical performance of projects through our project lifecycle management system.
  • Maintain and grow established client relationships by becoming an indispensable partner to our clients, both internal and external.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for mechanical engineering, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Develop cost estimates and manage engineering design and design/build projects from conceptual design through construction.

 

Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience with an engineering consulting or design firm.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work without Visa sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
