About The Team

CoverMyMeds' Product Team is looking for a Sr. Director, Product Management to help orchestrate a multidisciplinary team to conceptualize, develop, and launch a new platform that streamlines the medication access journey for patients on both retail and specialty medications. Of note, our team is an innovative group of healthcare experts focused on removing barriers for providers and specialty pharmacies. Together with our cross-functional peers we work together to help people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives.

What You'll Do

As a Sr. Director, Product Management your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here's a snapshot of what to expect:

  • Develops and champion the platform's vision, strategy, operational policies, priorities, and plans for execution

  • Conducts market research to understand pain points and unmet needs, of providers and specialty pharmacists who focus on highly complex medications

  • Rapidly evaluates customer and user experience as it relates to product development/commercialization and collaborates with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure ongoing product effectiveness and measurable, expanding value to users and customers

  • Builds product roadmaps using data- driven approach to make decisions, monitor health of product, and pursue opportunities to grow market share

  • Influences cross functional teams including engineers, designers, and health care experts to deliver on solutions that will achieve the platform's aspirational vision

  • Seamlessly integrates solutions from key strategic partners like pharmacies, electronic health records (EHRs), and insurance companies

  • Conducts rigorous financial analysis and has financial responsibility for P&L of assigned product line, including accountability for strategies to improve pricing, profitability, and GTM approach

  • Ensures value proposition and positioning of products are well developed, measurable, and understood by internal and external stakeholders

  • Develops and maintains an understanding of CMM's current position in the market and ensures team delivers measurable, differentiated value for the product line relative to market/segment competitors

  • Creates sound business cases based on rigorous analysis, and proposes investment or de-investment in existing products or new concepts based on enterprise strategy and market trends

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align the product portfolio with organizational and enterprise strategy; rationalizes product decisions and impacts across the portfolio

  • Leads and organizes a high performing team for optimal results, adapting as the business grows and changes

  • Provides expertise on highly complex matters that cross multiple products, departments, and/or suites, leveraging an in-depth understanding of organizational objectives and the healthcare industry

  • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers

  • Directs second- and first-level managers covering multiple related sub-functions, products, or technical disciplines

Skills You'll Need

This role typically requires 13+ years of professional experience and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, execution, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience). Other critical skills include:

  • Product management experience or familiarity with technical product development methodologies (e.g., Agile)

  • Product development lifecycle

  • P&L or financial management experience

  • Strategy

  • Financial Acumen

  • Budget Planning

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
  • MBA preferred

  • Excellent business acumen and ability to move and evolve with the fast-changing needs of the company

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with a track record of leveraging market insights for strategic decision-making and product building

  • Demonstrated ability to run highly complex projects that require detailed financial analysis across a large portfolio

  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-quality internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams

  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders as well as drive meaningful change and innovation

  • Proven ability to succeed in a highly matrixed organization

  • Exceptional ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners

  • Demonstrated expertise in debating complex decisions, weighing pros and cons and ensuring that recommendations align with overarching strategic goals

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$156,000 - $260,000
