Job Description

As the Global Senior Global Corporate Account Manager (GCAM), you will be part of a dynamic team that provides global guidance to Purolite's strategic accounts. As the Global Senior Corporate Account Manager, you should understand your clients on a global level, develop an account strategy based on that understanding and our offerings. Once developed as the GCAM, you will work with the regional account managers to execute the global strategy on a local level.

What You Will Do

  • Understand account business, financials, and strategic direction. Attend quarterly earnings calls, read investor/company updates, read annual reports, etc.
  • Know the global sites, particularly process development and biologics manufacturing sites.
  • Know the key company initiatives for the key account.
  • Map the key decision makers across the global network.
  • Develop company-specific account initiatives, based on Purolite goals and capabilities. These goals should be linked to the account initiatives.
  • Develop a global communication plan for each account.
  • Engage with the broader Ecolab divisions to broaden relationships.
  • Continue to drive Purolite mindshare within the account.
  • Articulate the revenue, funnel, and opportunities.
  • Keep current a global presentation deck
  • This role is to be based in US, primarily in West Region within 1-2 hours of flying time from major cities of California.
  • The role is remote and will require 50% travel there regularly as well as international travel.
  • Car allowance provided.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in biotech/biopharma corporate account management or business development role.
  • 2 years of relevant experience of managing corporate account/s at global level.
  • 5 years of complex selling and negotiation experience.
  • Operational understanding and experience in using CRMs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bioprocessing workflow and chromatographic resin selling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of bioprocessing downstream workflow
  • Solid understanding and experience of managing CDMO accounts.
  • Relevant experience in working at different levels from C-Suite to End-Users in an account.
  • Experience negotiating MSAs or multi-site contracts.
  • Experience running or managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

Total compensation range is $140.000 - $180,000. This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
