Description

The Inside Sales Manager position is focused on generating orders/revenue and meeting sales targets. This role requires managing a portfolio of accounts within a designated market, leveraging effective communication and sales strategies. The Inside Sales Manager will work collaboratively with the team to drive customer engagement, foster relationships, and optimize sales processes. Additionally, the position may involve supervising and coaching other Inside Sales Managers to ensure cohesive and efficient team operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met consistently.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed established targets, contributing to overall revenue goals.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide effective feedback to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Voice of customer: Regularly communicate customer feedback internally, fostering a customer-centric culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously review and enhance sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Metrics Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators to assess team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Participate in and lead training sessions for the sales team, ensuring continuous skill development and product knowledge.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Market Research: Conduct periodic market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. Share findings with marketing to develop lead generation strategies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities (thru CRM process), preparing regular reports for management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, application support group, customer support and others to ensure alignment in overall business objectives.
  • Workshop Participation: Participate in relevant committees or working groups to contribute insights and coordinate efforts across the organization. improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Special Assignments: Undertake special projects or assignments as designated by upper management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

  • CRM Software: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for client management and sales tracking.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred candidate will have a minimum of three (3) year's sales experience in a related high technology field.
  • Understanding of radiation detection fundamentals and of the nuclear industry as a whole.
  • Ability to apply fundamental and technical sales skills.
  • Understanding of government and common commercial procurement processes.
  • Ability to manage, strategize, and coordinate sales activities.
  • Strong focus and drive to close opportunities, win deals, grow the business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Technical skills/understanding/ability to be able to quickly develop a thorough knowledge of Mirion equipment and understanding of customer applications; ability to recommend solutions; and ability to operate and demonstrate Mirion equipment.
  • Ability to collaborate well and form good partnerships/relationships with other team members and departments needed for success (Engineering, Physics, Operations, Sales, Management, Marketing, Operations, etc).
  • Self-motivated; Ability to function independently. Excellent time management skills. Strong organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor, appearance in representing the company.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Participation in local/regional/national conferences and meetings.
  • Maintain knowledgeable on current sales techniques and fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize SalesForce.
  • Strong knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PPT, Word, etc).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical area preferred, or equivalent training and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) or more year's prior sales experience, preferably in a technical field. Demonstrated equivalent ability can provide equivalence to years of experience.
