What we need...

An Application Analyst to perform complex functions to design COCC mobile banking products and assist in testing, implementation, training and support of those designs.

As a member of the Task Force analyst team, you will work closely with developers, both iBanking and our Core Product teams and other teams at COCC, who act on behalf of the customer for high priority enhancements and bug fixes. These requests are a result from our Commercial Forum who provide strategic development requests to help clients stay competitive in their industry such as; expansion of commercial services features and functionality. The Task Force team also field time-specific requests from the production support team.

What you'll do...

  • Develop and maintain application knowledge in area of design
  • Analyze defects in existing software and document any corrections
  • Devise product functionality based upon customer / vendor input and industry requirements
  • Create, write and present bug fix or functional design specifications related to issues and enhancements in accordance with COCC standards
  • Perform system testing of programmer's implementation of design
  • Handle Customer Service questions concerning regulations and/or existing industry requirements and functionality of products; Evaluate service level issues to diagnose system inefficiencies
  • Develop and deliver training to internal staff on application changes or functionality of enhancements; May provide support of off-hours production issues
  • Work with developers on possible needed re-design or follow up based on testing
  • Assist Customer Service with writing release notes and system documentation

What you'll bring...

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
  • Experience with PL/SQL and relational databases preferred
  • 2-3 years' experience in banking or financial services environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret banking periodicals, professional/technical journals and technical procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff both orally and in writing
  • Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to interact with various levels of staff and management and within teams
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
  • Knowledge of specific banking applications

The salary range for this role is $65000-$85000/annually
