Daily Substitute Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional - $15.00 per hour

ESS has partnered with the Manchester School District to placed passionate paraprofessionals into substitute coverage for the 2022/2023 School Year and again for the 2023/2024 School Year!

Paraprofessionals work under the direction of the classroom teacher to provide extra support to students with special needs, promoting maximum academic and personal growth. Flexible schedules available Monday through Friday throughout the Manchester School District, with a minimum commitment of 4 days per month!

Both Per Diem schedules available in both Districts (can pick up assignments at both as an ESS Staff!), as well as Long-Term, Monday through Friday positions available.

Responsibilities Paraprofessional

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class
• Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• CT/FBI Criminal History Clearance
• Department of Children and Families Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Record Clearance
• Education Employment Verification - Act 16-67
