WHAT YOU'LL DO
The CMS and Digital Enablement (CDE) squad at BCG is seeking a candidate for a Software Engineer role to be an integral part of our agile team. The incumbent for this role will help architect and implement technical solutions across the full suite of BCG's marketing systems - targeting both internal and external audiences. The candidate must be open minded and interested in continuous learning, while being curious and unafraid to ask questions. He/She must be willing to innovate and initiate change, discover new solutions and present new ideas. He/She must work well in a global team environment, and collaborate well with peers and stakeholders.

This position will involve daily collaboration with the architect and other development teams, vendors, stakeholders, and users throughout Agile design, development, implementation and operations of both infrastructure and business mappings. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

You will be a member of the CMS and Digital Enablement (CDE) Squad, a team of passionate individuals whose mission is the BCG.com Content Management System and several supporting digital platforms and services. The CDE Squad works closely with the Online Personalization and BCG.com squads. The Software Engineer position is responsible for collaborating with other squads, Global Marketing, other IT teams and external vendors.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Solid knowledge of technical web architectures (hosting, security, database, CMS, CDN)
- Strong experience developing standards-compliant Web applications using front-end Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, XML/XSL, etc.
- Expertise in JAVA
- Expertise using AWS and Elastic Search (preferred)
- CICD Tools and Platforms
- Experience with development in a CMS environment
- Strong expertise in debugging and troubleshooting web applications
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams
- Experience in all aspects of Agile SDLC, and end to end participation in a project lifecycle
- BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science or related field
